We love this restaurant. A little hidden gem. We've been here 4x a week since discovery. We loved the following : Katsu curry don. (We keep the sauce separate) All their skewers Sake clam TakoYaki ikayaki Ramens (All ramens were good) Karaage {sauce on the side for us) Fresh Oysters Teriyaki tofu Shishito Peppers (Betsy Style) check the pic Service is good. Alice the owner is excellent and very accommodating. Staffs are friendly, Betsy has been our server a few times. The place is cozy and we love the ambiance. You would have to wait on parties more than 6

Surprisingly no wait on a Wednesday night and got seated right away. The place is small but very cozy and intimate. The service was great as well! I got the KO ramen and it was the perfectly savory, not salty, and lots of meat! It had meatballs, ribs, and pork belly which I enjoyed. Overall experience was amazing! Also got the ribeye skewers with honey mustard sauce which was so good and tender, definitely recommend.

Just spotted a great deal. From now until October 6th, they're offering a buy one, get one free draft beer special. It's perfect timing with the hot weather. Planning to swing by with some friends this week to cool down and enjoy a cold drink or two. Definitely don't want to miss out on this. Cheers!

Skewers are good, makes it worth coming. Their main ramen the Kaiju Kobe is oddly sweet and taste of chipotle, not your typical Japanese ramen.

I've been coming here since probably 2017 and it remains a safe choice for me when I'm in the mood for ramen, skewers, and a quick bite. Interior is tiny! So if there's a wait, you'd probably need to wait outside. There's only one row of tables, probably about ten tables total. They don't take American Express. Skewers - the pork belly and chicken yakitori are fan favorites. Both are super juicy, flavorful, and best when hot!u Ramen - Kaiju Kobe is a big bowl full of flavor. The tortilla chips are a fun topping and the meat is more brisket-like. K.O has a really good broth; sometimes the meat is fall-off-the-bone tender, sometimes not. Would recommend happy hour for sure - and even if not, share a bowl of non-traditional ramen, a few skewers, and a glass of Sapporo :)

My bf and I decided to try Kaiju since we were wanting ramen for dinner and were intrigued by the menu. It's a small space inside, but we were lucky to get seated without any wait at 7:30pm on a Friday. We started with the seaweed salad and the brussels sprout skewers. Seaweed salad was standard but delicious as always, and the brussels sprouts surprised me with how good they were. They were charred nicely, giving them a good smoky flavor and the skewers came with a nice teriyaki-like sauce. This added a nice sweet and savory flavor to the brussels sprouts. I ordered the KO ramen and my bf got the spicy tofu miso. The KO ramen was huge and came with pieces of crispy pork belly, 2 pork ribs, 2 teriyaki meatballs, and an egg. This was literally enough food to last me another meal lol. I've never had ramen like this, and it was definitely a meat overload. I found the meat to all be too salty, which in combination with the salty tonkotsu style broth, kept me chugging water throughout the meal. Luckily, the waitresses were attentive and filled my glass multiple times. I was also disappointed that their egg was not a seasoned ramen egg, it was just a regular soft boiled egg. I did like the thicker noodle texture, it was cooked al dente with a good bite to them. My boyfriend's broth was a little lacking in miso flavor, but he liked the crispy potato sticks that came with the bowl. Service was good with the two waitresses and they had good music playing. I think the concept of more creative ramen bowls is cool, but the execution fell a bit flat for me. Seasonings could be worked on, some things were overly salted and other components were bland. They definitely don't skimp on their portions and the value is good, but I would try other things if I come back here, starting with getting more skewers. Ramen was a 3, but I'll round up to 4 stars for the nice service and good appetizers.

Came by to Kaiju eats on a friday evening, inside was quite a small dinning area so we waited about 10 minutes for our table. The environment was lively, it's a nice place to sit, eat, and talk. We were two people, so for appetizers we ordered the pork cheek skewer as well as the ribeye skewer. And their hamachi sashimi special. The skewers were really good! Had a nice charcoal taste to it, and still really tender and flavorful from their own natural flavors. The ribeye had this honey mustard sauce on it which paired really well with it, it cut through the grease of the meat. The hamachi sashimi was amazing! Super tender and wasn't too fishy! Really enjoyed it. For the ramen we got the K.O ramen and the Kaiju Kobe Ramen The K.O was really good. The tonkotsu broth wasn't too heavy, but still full of flavor. Really enjoyed that part about it. But also it came topped with A LOT of meat, which is something we appreciated! The Kaiju Kobe ramen was pretty good. spicy beef ramen. The soup itself felt a little too oily, but still good. It was topped with a stir fry spicy beef on top. I enjoyed it while my partner thought it was okay. Overall i'd definitely come back. Service was nice, food was great, and loved the environment. Can't wait to try their other bowls of ramen next!
